The Early Days

Expansion

In 1998, Nordstrom started their online platform, jumping into the online retail world. By 2009, Nordstrom started shipping items abroad.
Acquisitions and Partnerships
Throughout the 2000’s Nordstrom purchased a number of fashion boutiques and brands. In 2014, Nordstrom opened it’s first store in Canada, and in 2015 opened a store in Puerto Rico. In 2016, Nordstrom began selling products from J. Crew, Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28, Adore Me, and Eloquii. Today they continue to expand and evolve as a company.
Anniversary Sale
Nordstrom offers a few big sales each year. This includes their biggest sale of the year, The Anniversary Sale.
